COMPETITIVE TEAM
Junglenastics competes through the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Xcel Division. This allows us to take a more fun and less strict approach to competitive gymnastics.
While USA Gymnastics (USAG) is the governing body of gymnastics, AAU is designed to give gymnasts space to compete in a more fun and light hearted atmosphere than USAG.
The Xcel Program is an alternative competitive program offering individual flexibility to coaches and gymnasts. The goal of Xcel is to provide gymnasts of varying abilities and commitment levels the opportunity for a rewarding gymnastics experience.
XCEL LEVELS
Bronze is the first level offered and the level where most of our gymnasts begin. This gymnastics level offers a variety of opportunities for starting gymnasts. Skills range from connected front rolls to roundoff back handsprings, with most girls somewhere in between.
Silver, Gold, Platinum, & Diamond follow with platinum being the highest level Junglenastics competes.

PRE-TEAM
Junglenastics offers a pre-team gymnastics program to develop the skills needed to move to our competitive gymnastics team. We practice twice a week, including a modified Sumer program with an in-house competition.
This program helps gymnasts and parents determine whether a competitive atmosphere is the right environment. Some gymnasts move to team immediately after the summer program while others choose to stay on pre-team for an extra year. Some gymnasts decide to return to recreational classes and that's ok too!
